I am no one's person but my own, and am gradually discovering this more and more. I can't and won't be what other people expect of me.
I am Catholic. I am a Christian. I support gay rights. I do not believe in abortion. I am pro-life, pro-liberty, and pro-the pursuit of happiness. The Virgin Mary and Pope John Paul II have special places in my heart. You are more than welcome to have your own beliefs, religious or otherwise -- I won't fault, criticize, or condemn you for them -- but if you ever badmouth either of these people, I'm going to have a problem with you.
I enjoy slash (the depiction of homosexual relationships and/or sex in art and fiction, usually of the fan-created variety), and I have a habit of reading and writing it. If you don't appreciate such things, you don't have to read it. I put fic-headers/descriptions/warnings up for a reason. Please pay attention to them.
I am very much the fannish dork. I have a large number of fandoms that I am addicted to. Probably more than is healthy. =P Star Wars is my original obsession, but Pirates of the Caribbean was my first fandom. I was dragged into the Harry Potter fandom kicking and screaming, but now I consider it home. Metalocalypse... well... I'm still adjusting to the fandom, but I rather love it. Surprisingly so.
I like to roleplay -- when I have time for it -- love to read -- when life allows it -- and enjoy crafting -- though I'm a moderately good crafter at best.
